United in Diversity

The theme of the ESRII 2023 conference is “United in Diversity” in mental health science, routine care practices and digital technologies. Diversity will be expressed in terms of the variety of target groups to be addressed, cultural identities, methodological innovations such as AI, therapeutical framework developments and technological innovations. With this theme we aim to embrace diversity, equity and inclusion in science and routine mental health care with a specific focus on the next generation of multidisciplinary researchers and scientists’ practitioners. The ESRII 2023 is free of conference charge as we want to enable young researchers to partake as well.

The VU Universiteit Amsterdam (VU) welcomes all participants to the 7th ESRII Conference 2023. We are happy to host the conference as innovations in digital mental health as well as values like diversity are part of the VU identity.

We welcome presentations related to the overall conference theme which is divided in the following eight tracks:

  1. Diversity
  2. Routine care & implementation
  3. AI & mental health
  4. Hard to reach populations
  5. Blended interventions for mental health
  6. Youth
  7. Innovations in research methods
  8. Global e-mental health

Welcome drinks in Pension Homeland, a retro style bar/restaurant/hotel on the Marine Terrein in Amsterdam. Surrounded by water, a green park and tranquility, yet in the middle of the lively city. It is located on a former naval base hence the name Marine Terrein. The former naval offices and barracks are now home to creative startups, living labs and technical and environmental studies. The park and the open water are ideal for spending time on sultry summer days.
